Free Yoga - Sports Basement

Looking for Free Yoga Classes?

Due to the very high turnout of yoga students, speed walkers, coach potatoes, Fat Tire Beer Specialist, snowboarders, tri athletes, rock climbers, mothers, yoga mats, and then some . . . Sports Basement has agreed to continue hosting free yoga classes each & every Sunday from 1:00 - 2:30pm.

Calling all Yoga Teachers & Business Owners :

Presently, I am searching for other venues in the San Francisco Bay Area where I can create a similiar free yoga program - making yoga accessible for every individual.

Therefore, if you are a yoga teacher (or a soon to graduate yoga teacher) looking to share your knowledge, practice karma yoga (community service), and put yourself in the public eye, join in & volunteer your services making yoga affordable for every individual.

And if you are a business owner and/or know of a location or organization that would like to become part of this sucessful growing trend - email me and let's chat ....

Together, through the practice of Yoga, we can better ourselves & our community.

AIDS/LifeCycle Raises a Record $11.6 Million to Fight AIDS
San Francisco, June 1, 2008 -- More than 2,500 cyclists from all over the world rode exuberantly from San Francisco to Los Angeles as participants in the annual AIDS/LifeCycle. This year's riders and 500 volunteer roadies raised a record $11.6 million, more than any other annual HIV/AIDS fundraising event.

And thanks to your continued support, I had the opportunity to do my part for humanity. Each year, I cycle 575 miles (from S.F to L.A, CA.). And, each year, I complete the ride knowing I did the right thing

Thank You!

•	For being part of the solution.
•	For assisting those who are challenged by this AIDS Epidemic.
•

And in 2009, for my 12th Year, I’ll be right back out there.

What does a yoga teacher do when not teaching yoga?

"There are times when even the keenest practitioner of yoga may not have the energy to do a classical practice. This could be due to illness, exhaustion, or excess stress.

In this class, Janet will take students through a number of sequences using props in order to get the maximum physiological and mental benefits of the poses with the most minimal physical effort." -Iyengar Yoga Institute
